Lies aren’t always pain,
That’s why you lie too.
You pretend to care when your friend rants,
Because listening is the care you do.
You say she’s pretty though you think not,
Because her looks don’t matter to you.
You tell them everything will be okay,
Because you wish it’ll become true.

Thanks a lot! Yes, sometimes I catch myself lying to make someone happy and feel a bit false/bad – it just shows that there’s such a fine line between good and evil, lies and truth.
